More Hawk Circle Farm, and the E.L.F.
Snow place like gnome...
Actually I have no idea if Hawk Circle has gnomes, if so, they'd be about Halfling size. Probably good at cooking and gardening. Meanwhile, Bran takes Blue for an adventure.
Blue took a dive off the shelf and broke his tail, causing a rearranging of things in the art room. Also a buying of Real Glue (E6000) and much gluing, then clear coating with satin ModPodge which is much shinier than I hoped.
But Blue is baaaaaaack!

a ride at Pinchot Park
Hawk Circle's best trail horse takes one of the educators in stride...
I pack my camera backpack with one model and rider, and off we go. I had the Real Camera, but when I got to the park, realized I'd left the camera card in the computer. So I did the hike with the camera on the phone. No dithering on photoshop, just straight up phone snapshots.
Breyer "Black Stallion" and slightly customized Mego 8" doll. Blanket made from a Scottish wool scarf found at a thrift shop: it's made a bunch of clothing and horse gear. Saddle is repainted Breyer Western Horse molded saddle, which makes it hard to put rider's feet in "stirrups".

Another educator takes to the trails. Rider is 8" Mego "Burnham" from Star Trek: DSC. I redid her hair cause her original hair did not fit under a helmet. Hand sewed the fleece jacket. Made the bosal from pipe cleaner, vetwrap, and thin yarn.
some obstacle work in the arena
Bran and his little sis Jay school the lesson pony Mithril in jumps. He's a little nose heavy in that last one.
Elves don't need helmets, they land on their feet.
Another action sequence: click through to see something like super primitive stop motion. Blue stands on his own, but Mithril (articulated white horse) needs a stand, even when he's not jumping. With a clean plate (shot without Mithril and rider) I can layer in the shot with Mithril, then erase the stand, letting the background show through. You need to have the camera on a tripod so it doesn't move, so you get the same exact angle and zoom.

There absolutely are merfolk in the ELF, and probably giant rabbits. I think those are a secret breed from Erda (the multimirrorverse world).
1/3 scale (American Girl) dogsleds, handmade harness, rescued plush huskies, an Aurora mermaid and one from the Baltimore Aquarium with no discernible origin.
