Mando and Grogu's Excellent Adventures
By Yule 2020, the second season of Disney+ series The Mandalorian had concluded with a heartfelt finale that left grown men sobbing. The smol green alien of Yoda's species goes off to study How To Be A Jedi with Luke Skywalker, breaking up one of the best buddy teams ever.
Meanwhile, after a drought of merch at the beginning of the first season, fans had bought up everything Grogu they could lay their hands on, from smol action figures to life sized "Baby Yodas" that were dressed up, repainted as other individuals of the species (sometimes is, ah, very creative colors and genders), photographed on shopping trips, at holiday celebrations, or just hanging around the house. Some guys even got on the bandstarship with cosplay photoshoots as Mando with their favorite little green guy.
All of this made The Year Of The Plague a bit more bearable.
Here's my contribution to the storm of creativity inspired by a tiny little division of the Star Wars universe...

Behind the scenes:
There are two different life sized Grogus here, one simply ends in a bean bag body but has the soft plastic head and hands, the other has a slightly different face, and plushie hands and feet. Many fans redid the bodies and dressed their Grogus in baby clothes, repainted, and renamed them as other individuals of the same species (Yoda's unamed species in Star Wars).
The Mandalorian here ("Mando" aka Din Djarin) is about 12" tall. The smol Grogus are in scale to him and come in various sets. Not articulated, but so many fun poses!
The Night Furies are the same scale as the smol Grogus. I had a couple sets so repainted 3 as the Night Lights from How To Train Your Dragon 3; that is, the children of Toothless the Night Fury and the Light Fury.
Groot, Totoro and others also appear.
The mini panthers are: 3 voids: T'Challa, Worf and Uhura, and one orca, Shuri.
Lily is a 7.2 hand mini pony. A hand is 4". Any number after the . means inches... 7 hands plus 2 inches. The smallest horse is 14.2. Anything under 14.2 is a PONY, if they're calling it a horse, it's for marketing stupidity. Average horse is 15 - 16 hands.
The aquarium has been taken over by smol invertebrates: Neocaridina davidi, or cherry shrimp in a crayon box of colors.
