These cartoon fish were based on the bluegills and other members of the sunfish family at Bainbridge Sportsmen's Club, an old limestone quarry set up for scuba diving. While bass hung back, well out of reach, bluegills (and pumpkinseeds and green sunfish and rock bass) were in your face, wondering where the hot dogs were. The guy at the bottom is a yellow perch.
